Word Level: Contrasting Sounds
In this module, we practice contrasting the R sound with the error sound your child is making in words, to help them hear the difference and make the difference.
This technique is particularly useful for children who are having difficulty with shifting between the error sound and the R sound.
The technique shown is called "Minimal Pair Therapy."
You can use a combination of the articulation techniques I have shown you and the minimal pair therapy shown here, going forward.
Watch the instructional and demonstration videos and print out the minimal pair contrast pictures that match the error pattern your child is using, to use with your child.
